Message from the co-chairs of ATTO3

On behalf of the international organizing committee of Attosecond Physics, we are pleased to welcome you to the 3rd International Conference on Attosecond Physics (ATTO3), which will take place from the 6th to the 8th of July, 2011, at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan. We are honored to host this conference on the newly emerging research fields in the historical campus of Hokkaido University, and would like to thank all the invited speakers for accepting our invitation.

ATTO3 will cover the following research topics:
(i) Attosecond pulse generation and characterization
(ii) High harmonic generation and its application
(iii) Ultrafast phenomena in the attosecond and femtosecond time domain
(iv) Few-cycle laser pulse generation and its application
(v) Time resolved electron and ion spectroscopy

This year, ICOMP12 and ATTO3 will be held sequentially at the same venue. You can attend either conference or both. The first day of ATTO3 will overlap with the last day of ICOMP12, so that attendees of both conferences can enjoy an enhanced level of interaction.

Submission of oral papers is now open, and can be accessed through this website. We are looking forward to receiving your valuable contribution to this conference.
