•	ICOMP12 will be held as scheduled; all preparations continue apace, without any delay caused by the recent disasters in Japan. Please also rest assured that Sapporo has suffered no damage from the earthquakes and tsunamis that hit the Tohoku region of Japan, and that the Hokkaido Island is far enough from the power plants in Fukushima that you will be at no risk from any radiation while attending our conferences.
