For regular participants

● All deadlines close at 5:00 p.m. JST (Japan Standard Time; GMT+0900).
● These registration fees entitle you to an abstract book for the applicable conference(s).

Accompanying persons

●The registration fee for accompanying persons who wish to attend the social functions of the conference(s) will be as follows. This fee is only payable on site. Please note that a book of abstract will not be provided to a participant registering as an accompanying person.

Payment

●Online payment can only be made by credit card (Visa Card, Master Card, or UC Card) in Japanese yen (JPY).
●Please note that the USD and EUR rates listed above are only rough estimates as of March 8th. The actual conversion rate by which the registration fee will be charged on your credit card in your own currency will change according to the time of your registration.

Registration on site

● If you have missed the deadline for online registration, your payment can only be made in cash (at the Late Registration rate) at the registration desk on site.
● Please note that we will not accept credit card payment for the on-site registrations.

Registration form

● To register for either or both of the two conferences, ICOMP12 and ATTO3, please proceed to the online registration form from the link below.
● Note that, once you have registered for either of the conferences, you cannot add another conference or cancel any part of your registration through an online procedure. Please make sure that your plans are fixed before you submit your registration.

Accommodation

● Participants of either ICOMP12 or ATTO3 can book their rooms at our designated hotels for any period throughout the duration of the two conferences using the following online booking form.
● All inquiries relating to accommodation arrangements, such as how to extend your stay beyond the standard dates listed herein, should be addressed directly to Nippon Travel Agency Co., Ltd. (NTA).

Visa arrangements

● All participants are responsible for applying for their own visas for entry into Japan.
● You do not need to obtain a visa if you are exempt from the visa requirements either because you hold a re-entry permit or because your country or region has a Visa Exemption Arrangement with Japan. A list of countries and regions whose nationals do not need a visa to enter Japan are provided here on the website for the Japanese foreign affairs ministry.
● If you are a national of one of the following countries, please contact our staff team at icomp-atto@chem.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp, as you will need our documentation in addition to your own application documents to make your visa application:
China, Russia, Philippines, NIS countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan)
It generally takes around two business weeks for a visa application to be processed. We will need to mail you our documents by EMS or Fedex, which will also take up to one or two weeks. Therefore, please let us know of your needs well in advance, to make sure you have the visa ready in time for your trip to Japan.
● If you require a visa but your country is not listed above, you will not need our documents in making your visa application. Please contact your local Japanese embassy or consulate for further information on the application process.
